DESCRIPTION:We will take a mid-winter tour through Bells Bend Park.\nWe’ll start just before dawn in search of owls and wood-\ncock: this is a great time of year to watch woodcock dis-\nplaying in the fields behind the nature center. Once things\nlighten up\, we’ll wander along one of the main trails which\nloops down to the river and back in search of sparrows\,\nfinches\, waterfowl\, raptors\, etc…We’ll meet at 5:30 a.m.\nat the Nature Center Parking lot. For those wishing to\nsleep in a bit\, you can join us around 7:00 at the Nature\nCenter parking lot (Contact information:\nms722@bellsouth.net. Please include “NTOS Field Trip”\nin the subject line.)
